"When the waters rise, life learns to stay."
A documentary short film portraying the annual flooding in the city of MarabĂ¡, in the state of ParĂ¡, Brazil, where the Amazonian ItacaiĂºnas River meets the Tocantins River. The film explores not only the physical impact of the waters that advance over streets and homes, but also the intimate and collective ways in which the population adapts.
